More Pictures Of The Happy Family!

I was able to get a nice family shot of my sister and her husband and our new lil' Murphy Man.

Every time I am at the hospital proud papa is never there. We have been going in shifts. Finally I have a couple shots of father and son.

Almost everyone will be arriving at my sisters home tomorrow. They are being released from the hospital in the morning. We are getting the house ready for all the company. More pictures to follow soon!

Life Lesson # 244 - Cooking and Temperature

I have started working on cooking with the kids. Well they have been helping me cook for a while now. Making simple recipes like scrambled eggs. They love to help me bake doing all the measuring, breaking eggs, and mixing.

I want them to understand how to use the stove and oven and how to use the microwave. I want them to understand about temperature reading. The different levels of heat on the knobs of the stove. That's what are lesson is consisting of right now, plus following a recipe.

This is one of those lessons everyone should learn. If you can't cook you can't eat. Especially when you cannot afford to go out to eat every meal.

Here He Is Everyone !

I would like to introduce you to my nephew Murphy Alexander Boberg.

He was born on December 9, 2009. He weighs 6 lbs. 3 oz. and is 19 inches long. He actually looks like he could be Tinky girls little brother. He has my grandmother and moms facial expressions. He is so tiny and so cute.

My sister is doing well. Trying to rest.
Daddy is beaming like a proud father should be. My sister had to have a C-section unfortunately. Apparently whenever she had a contraction Murphy mans heart rate would drop and he was in distress. They found out the cord was wrapped around his neck, but he is healthy and doing great. Thank goodness for that.

It took us forever to get here. I thought I could have flown here from all my anxiety. I just wanted to get here and make sure everything was all right. I feel better now that I have seen him and know that he and my sister are fine.

I'm so excited, I'm an Auntie!

Murphy with his greatgrandma "Gigi".
